If a user already owns a version of Fallout 4, there is no need to repurchase the package. Paid Mod Support & More Consoles
One of the biggest additions to the game is free: paid mods. They’ve been rumoured for years now, but finally creators can make content for Fallout 4 and get paid for it. This increases the longevity of the game and improves player engagement.
Bethesda also confirmed that it would launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. It is the first time a Fallout Title will be made available on a Nintendo console.
