New Japanese Nihil Zero Set Revealed For Pokemon TCG

Pokemon TCG’s next Japanese set has been revealed under the title ‘Nihil Zero’, and is planned for a Japanese release on January 23, 2026. The set is the third expansion in the MEGA series, and is the first booster set to be based on the Legends: Z-A video game. Cards feature notable Pokemon and Mega forms from the game, with Mega Zygarde getting the spotlight on the pack artwork.
Nihil Zero booster packs will contain 5 cards, and a booster box will contain 30 booster packs. As is the case with most Japanese sets, it will likely be released as an English expansion at a later date. Usually, multiple Japanese sets combine to form one English set, so fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for further updates.
So far, only a handful of cards have been revealed for the Nihil Zero set in Pokemon TCG. These cards include the Mega Zygarde ex, a Meowth ex, Binacle and Barbaricle, and, of course, recognizable characters from the Z-A game, such as Tarragon and Naveen, as new Supporter cards.
