While some players may be disappointed that SpongeBob isn’t available as a skin, there’s still plenty to look forward to. What SpongeBob Items Are Available in Fortnite?
The SpongeBob collab dropped during Winterfest 2025, and you’ve got until January 1, 2026 at 7 PM ET to pick up everything before it disappears from the Item Shop.
The SpongeBob collab includes 15 different items you can buy. SpongeBob himself shows up as a Sidekick that follows you around, not as a character skin you can wear (likely due to his large, square hitbox, which could cause gameplay issues).

The SpongeBob SquarePants Bundle costs 3,000 V-Bucks and includes the first 10 items from the list above. If you bought everything separately, it would cost way more, so the bundle saves you a ton of V-Bucks.
How to Get the Patty Wagon
The Patty Wagon is sold separately for 2,000 V-Bucks. It’s the sandwich-shaped car from the 2004 SpongeBob movie. This two-seater car body replaces the Whiplash and comes with two decals and pickle wheels that work on other vehicles too.
Yeah, it’s a bummer there are no actual SpongeBob skins to wear in the game. But if you’re a fan, the sidekick is pretty cool since he’s actually voiced by the real SpongeBob. The bundle gives you the best value if you want multiple items, but you can also just grab the Patty Wagon or a few emotes if that’s all you’re after.
