Lara Croft fans will be ecstatic to follow the progress of both Tomb Raider: Catalyst, and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis which have been announced for consecutive-year releases of 2026 and 2027.
New Tomb Raider Remake Arrives with Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis
First in the mix is the new Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis title, which has been announced for a 2026 release. This game is a complete remake of the original Tomb Raider game that started it all, complete with every minor detail, such as Lara’s original sleeveless blue shirt and shorts outfit that she has become so well-known for.
Taking a look at the reveal trailer, this game looks absolutely beautiful so far, and will truly be a gorgeous experience for both longtime fans and newer fans to enjoy. Environments look lush and crawling with life and mysteries to uncover – from ancient ruins and temples right down to the Dinosaurs.
Lara can be seen jumping from platform to platform, twirling off railings to reach high points, and even dual-wielding her pistols against these prehistoric beasts. At first glance, the game looks like an incredible mix of exploration/stealth, environmental vibrance, puzzle solving, and combat that has created some of the most incredible Tomb Raider entries over the years.

Fans Can Also Look Forward to a Brand-New Entry With Tomb Raider: Catalyst
As if an incredible new remake wasn’t exciting enough, Tomb Raider fans also now have a brand-new entry to look forward to. Tomb Raider: Catalyst, which has been announced for a 2027 release window, will see the beloved Lara Croft take on yet another adventure, this time set in Northen India.
Here’s the information revealed to fans so far, as stated on the official Tomb Raider website:
The wake of a mythical cataclysm that has unleashed ancient secrets and awakened the mysterious forces that guard them.
