Marvel Rivals Season 5.5 Brings Huge New Potential For Heroes Such as Luna Snow & Ultron

Marvel Rivals Season 5.5 marks the arrival of Rogue as a Vanguard, which will be sure to shake up the META in an interesting way. However, aside from Rogue, there are several more changes being made in the typical buffs/nerfs/adjustments rounds that occur at the start and middle of each season. Many characters gained some minor adjustments here and there, but others stand out with much more drastic effects.
Here is a summary of some of the most drastic changes going on with Season 5.5:
Ultron

Ultron is gaining the most significant change to him since his release, with the ability to now deploy two drones instead of one. This is a massive change that will allow Ultron to do a lot more healing, making him more viable in a better range of team compositions.
In addition to this, he now has a new target mechanic for Imperative: Firewall, with Ultron gaining 65 Bonus Health after use, granting allies 50 Bonus Health, and the selected ally gains a 20% movement speed buff and 10% damage boost.
Luna Snow

Luna Snow gains some pretty drastic buffs to her survivability in Season 5.5, which will now help her compete on the same level as the likes of Invisible Woman and Gambit in terms of value. First of all, her Freeze is getting reduced start-up time and a faster projectile speed from 60 m/s to 80 m/s.
Luna also gains a brand new ability titled Idol Aura. Luna Snow can apply Idol Aura to herself, converting 10% of healing on allies to healing on herself. She will also gain a 10% healing boost and 10% damage boost while Idol Aura is active.
Scarlet Witch

Wanda has gained some more adjustments to help her make more of an impact in battle. Scarlet Witch now has an increased projectile speed for her stun, Dark Seal, from 40m/s to 60m/s, with Spell Field generation delay removed.
The charge from her Chthonian Burst by Chaos Control hits has now also been increased from 0.08 to 0.1. Lastly, her Ultimate Ability, Reality Erasure, gets a buff on the strength/speed of the enemy pull mechanic, with the speed during cast now increased from 2.4m/s to 3m/s.
Thor

Thor receives more flexibility with Storm Surge and can now adjust the movement as well as freely move it in any direction. This was a change that was inspired by the Marvel Zombies game mode.
Wolverine

Lastly, Wolverine gains just one tiny change, but it’s actually rather huge in how it will affect his value in battle. His Ultimate Ability, Last Stand, can now target walls for its landing point. This adds so much potential for Wolverine to use his Ultimate from different angles, and gives him a lot more utility to work with on different maps.
