Holiday season in Marvel Rivals is back and this year’s lineup splits cleanly into festive Christmas comedy and glossy ice-fantasy spectacle, giving players skins that read instantly from across the screen.
Squirrel Girl, Star-Lord, Daredevil, & Winter Soldier Get Festive
These heroes are going full Christmas mode this year. Squirrel Girl leans into a reindeer look with antlers and fur trim, Star-Lord shows up dressed like a nutcracker come to life, Daredevil gets the loudest gag as he cheerfully announces “I’M NOT DAREDEVIL,” and Winter Soldier finishes the with a wreath around his neck and his abs out as Father Christmas.
Peni Parker and Cloak & Dagger Get Iced Out
The cooler-toned skins trade jokes for winter fantasy. Peni Parker’s turned her mech into a snowman, while Cloak & Dagger swap their usual shadow-and-light for an ice-skater look.
And The Skins From Last Christmas?
There’s no official confirmation yet, but we’ve seen other skins return, so we’ll likely see these back too. Not just that, but we’re getting signs that they might be expanding older sets rather than just re-selling them. Jeff’s winter skin is getting two brand-new color variants to hype up his new Winter Splash Festival event, with more reveals likely to be made closer to Christmas.
