How to Get Nacli, Naclstack & Garganacl in Pokemon GO
In Pokemon GO, the Nacli evolution line (Nacli, Naclstack, & Garganacl) is making its Pokemon GO debut at the beginning of the Journey to Paldea event. This event begins on December 2, 2025, at 10 AM local time and will conclude on December 9, 2025, at 8 PM local time.

How to Get Nacli in Pokemon GO
In Pokemon GO, Nacli will be available for the first time during the Journey to Paldea event. During this seven-day period, Nacli can be found as a wild encounter. However, Nacli is also listed as a rare wild spawn for this event, so it may take some patience until you run into one.
Nacli can also be encountered via the Paid Timed Research for Journey to Paldea, which can be purchased for an additional cost of $1.99 USD. All takss within this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed prior to the conclusion of the event.
Nacli is also available via event Field Research Task reward encounters, appearing as a reward for two out of the three tasks.
How to Get Naclstack in Pokemon GO
Unfortunately, unlike Nacli, Naclstack is not available in the wild during the Journey to Paldea event. This means that the only current way to obtain Naclstack is by obtaining a Nacli, accumulating the required amount of Candy, and then evolving Nacli into Naclstack from the Pokemon’s profile page.
Nacli can be evolved into Naclstack with 25 Nacli Candy.
How to Get Garganacl in Pokemon GO
Sadly, Garganacl is in the same boat as Naclstack, meaning it can currently only be obtained through evolution. To evolve Naclstack into Garganacl, players will need to accumulate an additional 100 Nacli Candy, then confirm the evolution from Naclstack’s profile page.
Can You Get Shiny Nacli, Shiny Naclstack, & Shiny Garganacl in Pokemon GO?
No, as of the Journey to Paldea event, shiny Nacli, shiny Naclstack, or shiny Garganacl cannot currently be obtained in Pokemon GO. This is because it is fairly rare for a shiny to make a debut alongside the original variant. Instead, Pokemon GO tends to release shiny forms of Pokemon at a much later date, usually as part of themed events and in-game celebrations.
