Palworld fans have something new to look forward to for the holidays, as the next content update has now been revealed with a December 17, 2025 release date. This new content, titled the Home Sweet Home update, introduces a collaboration with popular fps game, ULTRAKILL, as well as new features for customizing bases in your Palworld games.
Palworld’s Home Sweet Home Update & ULTRAKILL Collaboration

The December 17 release date for the Palworld x ULTRAKILL collaboration, titled Home Sweet Home, was announced via an official news post on Steam. Within this news post, Palworld devs also shared the link to a new trailer for the Home Sweet Home update that can be found on YouTube. Take a look at this trailer below:
This Trailer shows a sneak peek at what’s to come both in the promised new base customization features and the ULTRAKILL content. First and foremost, we’re given a glimpse at what appears to be new character customization or armor pieces in the form of an ULTRAKILL suit, completely changing the player character.

The ULTRAKILL outfit is then shown off in a variety of different gameplay scenarios, shooting at enemy NPCs, hanging out with Pals, exploring the islands, taking on bosses, and even taking a break to go fishing.
Following this, a sneak peek of the new base customization feature appears to be shown, with players in the ULTRAKILL outfit and their Pals painting the walls a range of different colors. This is a nice little layer of customization that players can use to personalize each room of their base, and it will be interesting to see if we can only paint walls and structures, or also the likes of placeable items/objects, storage, and weapons, too.

At the very end of the trailer, after the official release date has been revealed, there is also one final cutscene. A player can be seen entering what appears to be a cave (or perhaps a new dungeon?), accompanied by two Pals. However, as they stare into the darkness, a loud cry rings out, revealing two glowing eyes, and what could only presumably be the awakening of some kind of boss.

There’s a few possibilities for this, but one of the most likely scenarios would be perhaps the addition of a new ULTRAKILL dungeon with a themed end-boss, similar to the Terraria Dungeon. However, this may also simply be a new Raid Boss being implemented, without the need of a Dungeon. Or something else entirely! It seems we will all simply have to wait until December 17 to find out.
