Where To Find Shredders
You can find Shredders on the new Stella Montis map. This area is filled with tight hallways and indoor spaces, which is exactly where the Shredders thrive. They hover around the map, and once they spot you, they’ll charge at you with full force.
You’ll need to pay close attention to your surroundings while exploring Stella Montis. When a Shredder is nearby, you can usually hear its hovering sound. The moment you hear it, get ready, or avoid the area entirely.
The Best Ways To Kill Them
When you come across a Shredder, be ready for its charging attack. After it stops and begins charging up, you’ll have a few seconds to react before it unleashes a 360-degree blast that sends shrapnel flying in all directions. When you see this animation, immediately get behind cover and wait for the attack to finish.
Shredders are heavily armored, so using light ammo is almost useless. SMGs and pistols won’t deal much damage. Instead, use armor-piercing weapons such as shotguns or the Hullcracker. Melee weapons can also deal decent damage when you manage to get behind them.
