How to Get Shiny Hatenna, Shiny Hattrem, & Shiny Hatterene in Pokemon GO
In Pokemon GO, shiny Hatenna, shiny Hattrem, and shiny Hatterene are making their debut during the GO Wild Area: Global 2025 event. This event kicks off on November 15 at 10 AM local time and will conclude just one day later on November 16 at 6 PM local time.
The Hatenna line is featured in multiple areas of the GO Wild Area: Global event, making it the first solid opportunity to try and secure a shiny one. More details for each evolution stage have been included below.
How to Get Shiny Hatenna in Pokemon GO
In the past, Hatenna has been available in Pokemon GO both through Field Research Task encounters and as a 1-Star Raid Boss. There is a possibility that Hatenna will return as obtainable through these methods, or others, through future events.
During GO Wild Area Global 2025, Hatenna is featured as a wild spawn during the Fanciful Fairy Hour, so players will need to get out and about to explore for the best chance of encountering a shiny Hatenna.
How to Get Shiny Hattrem in Pokemon GO
In Pokemon GO, the easiest way to get a shiny Hattrem is by obtaining a shiny Hatenna and then evolving it into Hattrem. To evolve Hatenna into Hattrem, you will need to obtain 25 Hatenna Candy.
Hatenna Candy can most easily be obtained by farming multiple Hatenna captures and then transferring additional copies to the Professor, which should help bulk up your accumulated Candy. Once you have 25 Candy, you can head into Shiny Hatenna’s profile and hit the evolve button to evolve it into shiny Hattrem.
How to Get Shiny Hatterene in Pokemon GO
The first way to get shiny Hatterene in Pokemon GO is by evolving a shiny Hattrem. To evolve Hattrem into Hatterene, you will need to accumulate 100 Hatenna Candy, then hit the evolution button in shiny Hatenna’s profile.
During the GO Wild Area: Global 2025 event, Hatterene can also be encountered as a Mighty Pokemon on Saturday. If Trainers get lucky enough to beat the rare shiny odds, then encountering a shiny Mighty Hatterene is possible.
Other than that, Hatterene can also be encountered via Incense spawns throughout the event. It is recommended to try to spawn in as many Hatterene as possible, so that you have more chances to beat the rare shiny odds. By utilizing Incense, you can increase the number of spawns during this event where Hatterene is featured.
