Marvel Rivals players have a lot to look forward to following the recent announcement of an anniversary celebration. To recognize the 1-year milestone of the original Marvel Rivals release date on December 4, 2024, the devs have announced a new upcoming opportunity. Starting on November 27, 2025, players will have an opportunity to collect not only 2500 Units, but also a brand-new Legendary skin for Jeff the Land Shark – and all for free!
This is quite a generous offer to be put up for grabs, as this equals approximately $25 worth of Units. This currency is most commonly used to purchase new hero skins and cosmetic bundles from the in-game store. Specifically, cosmetic bundles including sprays, emotes, skins, and MVP animations are usually priced in the range of 2000-2500 Units. With this gift, any player who collects these Units will at the very least be able to buy one new hero skin of their choice.
As for how players can actually get these goodies once the 27th rolls around? Well, this information hasn’t been revealed yet. However, it is extremely likely that it will follow previous in-game events, where players must complete challenges to earn rewards. Usually, once all steps/rewards are completed, players then earn a bigger, final reward, which tends to be hero skins – in this situation, it would most definitely be the adorable new Jeff skin.
This will be one of the first events to take place during Season 5, which launches November 14, 2025. Season 5, which is titled ‘Love is a Battlefield,’ offers many exciting new arrivals and changes for players to experience.
