I love trophy hunting, and that is pretty central to how I approach and play games. As someone in this line of work, I am given the tools to assist those who share my trophy hunting hobby. For that, I’ll be reporting on games that might not get much notice, so others might be able to check for a doable platinum trophy.

Not all games really need a trophy guide. Some just need to be recognized for how easily someone could get the platinum trophy all on their own. This time, we’re looking at Truck Driver: The Dutch Connection, which was released on Oct. 31, 2025.

AS you might have guessed by the title, Truck Driver: The Dutch Connection is a driving simulator where you are in Europe doing a bunch of jobs fit for a trucker. There is a story mode, but it can be ignored, as this is the type of game you can enjoy paired with music/movies/podcasts/audiobooks.

There are 22 trophies (including the platinum) spread across the game’s two modes. There aren’t any missable trophies, so you don’t have that to worry about as you hit the open road. There’s the aforementioned story mode and Freedom to Roam mode. The latter only consists of a few, but will likely be a bulk of the platinum.

Story mode has 15 chapters, all of which grant a trophy upon completion. They all vary in length, so it’s hard to give an estimate, but all 15 are a definite time commitment. There’s no real challenge other than simply driving well to get to destinations quickly.

Freedom to Roam mode has four total trophies, one of which is simply for starting the mode and getting going. The other three are progression-based, as the game has a separate level system from story mode. You will get one trophy at level 5, 55, and the max level of 115.

There’s no real trick or roadmap to getting the platinum in Truck Driver: The Dutch Connection. You can complete story mode first, or you can go with Freedom to Roam off the bat. Either way, you’re looking at a decent amount of driving time, but all routes lead to the platinum.
