In Arc Raiders, looting is everything, from guns and food to materials and even books. One particular quest, “Building a Library,” requires you to collect books from the library in Buried City and deliver them to Apollo in Speranza. The challenge is that you must gather all the books in one raid. Since the area can get pretty intense due to the high enemy activity, knowing the exact locations beforehand will save you a lot of trouble. This guide covers all book locations to help you complete the quest efficiently.
Before you head to the library, make sure you’re properly geared up. Bring a solid weapon, shield, and plenty of ammo. This area sees a lot of action from other players and ARC enemies, so being prepared for a fight is really important.
To complete the quest, you’ll need to find three specific books:
- Romance book
- Detective book
- Adventure book
Where to Find the Books
The library is located in the City Center area of the Buried City map. Look for it just above Marano Park in the northern section. This whole area around Marano Park is one of the hottest spots on the map, so stay alert.
Enter the library from the southwestern entrance and start on the bottom floor. Look for a small book cart sitting in front of some tall shelves. When you interact with it, the Romance book will drop. Pick it up right away.
Head upstairs to the second floor and turn left. You’ll find the Detective book on another book cart in between two bigger shelves on your right. Grab it and keep moving.
For the Adventure Book, walk past the second cart until you spot a mezzanine with a small stairway opening on your left. You’ll find the book on a cart beside some fallen shelves.
Once you have all three books, you need to extract. There’s an extraction point right outside the library entrance. Head to the Northern Station metro entrance out front. Watch out for some enemies inside the metro station, plus any other players trying to extract. Once you make it through and extract successfully, take the books back to Apollo to finish the quest.
