PEAK: How to Earn the Calcium Intake Badge in PEAK

IIn PEAK, players can achieve the Calcium Intake Badge by successfully blocking 100 damage with the new Fortified Milk item. If you are trying to obtain this badge, you will need to save any Fortified Milk that you come across until you encounter a means of obtaining a lot of damage.

Otherwise, you will run the risk of using the Fortified Milk and not taking enough damage to earn the badge. In this situation, you’ll need to hope that you’re lucky enough to find another Fortified Milk to give a second attempt.

It may be a good idea to wait until you have a large section of poisonous plants, lava/heat, or cold/frost, meaning the Tropics/Roots, or Alpine/Mesa will likely be the best areas to take enough damage with the least amount of hassle.

Where to Find Fortified Milk & How it Works in PEAK

In PEAK, Fortified Milk can be randomly found in the various luggage that you’ll stumble upon within each biome.  Specifically, it will spawn in the regular Luggage and Big Luggage containers, so keep your eye out and remember to open as many of them as possible for the best chances of finding Fortified Milk.

When consumed, Fortified Milk will grant the player an invulnerability shield similar to the effects provided by Golden Bing Bong, for fifteen seconds. It will also remove a small amount of the Heat status effect immediately upon consumption, and will offer a small amount of healing to Skeletons who consume the item.

Fortified Milk can also be cooked to extend the duration during which the invulnerability shield takes place. This can certainly come in handy for completing the Calcium Intake Badge, as extending the time that the shield lasts gives you a better chance of racking up the required 100 damage.

When it comes to accumulating this blocked damage, any status effect aside from Weight will count towards the goal. If you have the opportunity to stack multiple damage effects at a time, that may also provide an easy way to block the point and earn your Calcium Intake Badge.

As a reward for completing the Calcium Intake Badge in PEAK, you will gain a new Third Eye accessory in your Passport that you can use to customize your character.
