What to Expect

Epic and The Simpsons have been teasing the crossover with a short clip featuring Kang and Kodos abducting Fortnite’s Jonesy and Hope — a nod to the aliens’ classic Treehouse of Horror appearances. The event is expected to culminate near a newly sprouted Treehouse of Horror site on the island, setting the stage for Fortnite’s first full Springfield takeover.

Event Rewards

Epic has not yet confirmed specific rewards for attending the live event, but free cosmetic items are a near certainty. Fans are speculating that the Kang and Kodos glider, added in the last major update, may be gifted to players who log in during the event.

What’s Next: The Simpsons Season

Once the servers return, Fortnite will debut its Simpsons-themed season, complete with a new Springfield-inspired map area and a Simpsons Battle Pass rumored to feature Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and even Ned Flanders skins.

Other leaked additions include themed pickaxes, emotes, and vehicles, though Epic has yet to confirm the full lineup. The mini-season is expected to run through late November or early December, making it one of the most high-profile crossovers in the game’s history.

For now, players can ready their donuts and gliders, Springfield lands in Fortnite this weekend.
