This year’s Splatoween celebration has wrapped up for 2025, and after a close showdown, Team Zombie has managed to claw their way to the top to secure victory.
The annual Splatfest returned over this last weekend, rerunning the old event prompt last seen in 2023. During this time, players were to decide which option would make the best kind of friend – a Zombie, Skeleton, or Ghost? Three days of ink-battling chaos followed, with players across the world dedicating themselves to one of these teams to battle it out against one another over the winning title.
2025 Halloween Splatfest Results Breakdown
Things certainly took a turn this Splatoween, as halfway through the event it looked as if Team Ghost may take it out with the slight lead they held – 33.50% of total clout. In fact, Zombies were last on the list at 33.20%, trailing just behind Team Skeleton’s 33.20%.
Team Ghost won the popularity vote by a complete landslide, having claimed almost 70% of total player votes. However, as the final results were tallied, Team Zombie proved themselves to be a dark horse, absolutely dominating the arena.
In the end, Team Zombie managed to secure wins across two of the three major battle categories, which ultimately lead to them taking the crown as the 2025 Halloween Champions with a total of 455 points.
