Seattle’s vampire underworld just got a little more paranoid.
In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, the militant I.A.O. faction has rolled out a citywide surveillance network. Silky, the tattooed, mustachioed Brujah Primogen, isn’t having it. To earn his favor, players are tasked with dismantling every last one of the I.A.O.’s watchful eyes.
There are 30 cameras scattered across the game’s Seattle map, and clearing them all not only pleases Silky but also unlocks the achievement “Cutting the Feed.” The side quest becomes available after starting the main storyline mission We Don’t Do Ghost Stories, and it’s as much a test of navigation as it is of vampiric agility.
Silky’s Request

Once you meet Silky at The Dutchman, he’ll ask Phyre to take down the I.A.O.’s security system. While his disdain for the group’s surveillance tactics is clear, the mission quickly turns into a scavenger hunt through Seattle’s rooftops, alleys, and construction sites.
Players will spend plenty of time scaling fire escapes and scanning the skyline for glimmers of camera lights — or using the game’s circular crosshair, which hints when something collectible is nearby.

Finishing the Job
Once all 30 cameras are gone, return to Silky at The Dutchman. He’ll express his gratitude, and possibly a bit more. Completing the quest strengthens Phyre’s relationship with the Brujah leader and unlocks additional dialogue about his dealings in Schmitz Park.
The reward isn’t just narrative. You’ll gain codex entries expanding Silky’s backstory and the I.A.O.’s role in the city, alongside the Cutting the Feed achievement for erasing the hunters’ digital trail.
For those looking to fully explore Bloodlines 2’s Seattle — or simply earn Silky’s approval — dismantling the I.A.O.’s surveillance grid is one of the most atmospheric side objectives in Paradox Interactive and The Chinese Room’s gothic RPG.
