All Field Research Tasks & Rewards in Pokemon GO’s Halloween 2025 Part 1 Event
Pokemon GO’s Halloween Part 1 sets the scene for spooky Pokemon fans. Not only does it feature plenty of creepy, ghostly Pokemon to encounter, but it also marks the debut for both Sinistcha and Poltchageist, two fan-favorite Ghost Types from Generation 9. The Halloween Part 1 event will be running in Pokemon GO between the dates of October 21, 2025, and October 27, 2025. This gives players six days to participate in-game, discovering event-themed Pokemon spawns and rewards.
Pokemon GO 2025 Halloween Part 1 Field Research Tasks & Rewards
During Pokemon GO’s 2025 Halloween Part 1 event, there will be five different Field Research Tasks for players to complete. These Field Research Tasks will grant rewards, including encounters with Ghost Type Pokemon, or Mega Energy for various Dark and Ghost Types that have Mega forms in the game.

The various Mega Energy rewards can be useful, as not only the Halloween Part 1, but the later Halloween Part 2 event features both 3-Star Raids and Shadow Raids throughout the timeframe. If you wish, you can utilize this Mega Energy to Mega Evolve one of these Pokemon, gaining an advantage for completing Raids in repetition.
During Halloween Part 1, Shadow Yamask and Shadow Phantump will be appearing in Shadow Raids. In 3-Star Raids, Hisuian Samurott, Hisuian Typhlosion, and Alolan Marowak will be making an appearance as Raid Bosses.
