Wild Zone 2 Pokemon Spawn List & Locations in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

Wild Zone 2 is located at Vert Plaza and will also be unlocked as a fast travel point for players to use. However, players will need to reach Main Story Mission 5 to unlock this Wild Zone for the first time. In Wid Zone 2, many Water Type Pokemon can be found, including Magikarp, Binacle, and Starmie, as well as other critters such as Budew, Patrat, and Kakuna.
Budew Spawn Location in Wild Zone 2

Budew can first be found in the first patch of grass you’ll see, to the left of the bridge. There will be a trainer nearby, crouching to look at Budew. You will need to be careful and sneak up on this Pokemon, as Budew is easily frightened and will run away if it spots you coming or if you fail to capture it.
Magikarp Spawn Location in Wild Zone 2

Magikarp can be found in the water that loops around the entire Wild Zone. However, nearby Magikarp will also spring out of the water and flop up onto the bridges as you cross them.
Binacle Spawn Location in Wild Zone 2

Binacle can be found in the first circular section of grass/land, immediately after crossing the first bridge upon entering Wild Zone 2. You can also find Binacle on the left side of the Wild Zone, on the long patch of grass that curves around the water.
Patrat Spawn Location in Wild Zone 2

Patrat can be found on the strip of grass that curves around the left side of Wild Zone 2. Specifically, it can be spotted wandering on the flat ground, in the grass, or standing on top of small ledges. It may jump down and attack you if spotted, so be ready.
Kakuna Spawn Location in Wild Zone 2

Kakuna can be found clinging to trees along the left side of the Wild Zone, in the same area that you can discover Patrat. Luckily, because Kakuna is attached to the tree, you can sneak up on it and get the first attack pretty quickly, or even make an attempt at throwing the Poke Ball at the stationary Bug Type right off the bat to try to acquire one without the need of battle.
Staryu Spawn Location in Wild Zone 2

Staryu is slightly trickier to find in Wild Zone 2, as it has spawn requirements. To be specific, Staryu will only spawn in Wild Zone 2 at night. This means that you will need to wait for night to occur and the Z-A Royale to kick off again. However, instead of participating in the Z-A Royale, you will need to travel to Wild Zone 2 and hunt for your Staryu!
Staryu can be found floating in the water around the Wild Zone, much like Magikarp. However, Staryu tends to stay closer to the ledges than Magikarp does, so if you do a loop around the grass, you should be able to spot a few along the way.
What is the Wild Zone 2 Alpha Pokemon & Where to Find it?

Wild Zone 2 has three different Alpha Pokemon that can spawn in. During the day, Alpha Magikarp will spawn on the patch of Grass all the way along the right-most side of Wild Zone 2.
However, during the nighttime, this Alpha Magikarp spawn will instead be replaced with an Alpha Staryu spawn. Alpha Staryu will be found in the exact same location as Alpha Magikarp.

Lastly, players can also find an Alpha Patrat on Wild Zone 2’s left side grass terrain. To find Alpha Patrat, roam around this area until you come across the stairs leading to the circular ledge. Follow the stairs up, and Patrat will be standing on this ledge.
