How to collect Maji Market Tickets in Palia
You may be looking at the items available through the Maji Markets and think, “What is this currency and how do I get it?”
This is the Maji Market Ticket and you gain these by playing the two market games that run every in-game night.

These two games are known as Pop-a-Chapaa and Chapaa Chase. More information on them both have been included below.
Pop-a-Chapaa

Pop-a-Chapaa runs every night at 10 PM by the south docks. Your goal is to shoot as many chapaa balloons as possible before the timer ends. You will receive tickets not only for your own efforts, but from the efforts of the server. For every ticket the server gets, you will earn 0.3x that on top of your own score!
The scoring goes as follows:
| Balloon | Prize |
|---|---|
| Small Orange Chapaa Balloon | 1x Ticket |
| Medium Brown Chapaa Balloon | 3x Tickets |
| Large Blue Chappa Balloon | 30x Tickets |

Chapaa Chase

Chapaa Chase begins every night at 12:10 AM on the western side of the markets. You and the rest of the server will try (and fail!) to catch all the Chapaas and return them to their pen before the time limit ends.
You will receive 5x tickets for every Chapaa you return to the pen, as well as 2x tickets for every Chapaa collected by the server.
Palia: What is the Claw Machine & How to Get Claw Machine Tokens?

The infamous Claw Machine is the savior and bane of all plush collectors in Palia. While the Claw Machine guarantees you a plush, getting your hands on a token is a little harder than you’d like.
To gain Claw Machine Token you must spend your Maji Market Tickets. Every time you purchase an item with tickets you have a random chance to gain a token.

Your chance increases depending on the number of tickets you spend in one sitting. However, if you spend over 6000 tickets in one visit, you are guaranteed a Claw Machine Token. So, technically, getting the token is easy, but it’s all up to chance. May luck be with you, dear Palians
Palia Maji Markets Extra Tips & Tricks
- When you enter the Markets, open the server list and send out party invites! Not only can you make some friends, but you will also receive a party bonus on any games you play while partied up.
- A lot of Palians get to the markets early to fish together for a chance at obtaining the highly-rare Ancient Fish, which is worth $1220 standard, or a hefty $1830 if it’s starred.
- When playing Pop-a-Chapaa, you don’t actually have to pop the balloons to get the tickets. For the larger balloons, hitting them once is enough to secure the tickets, so go for quantity over quality!
- In my personal experience, I have often found that the southmost side of the Chapaa Chase Arena usually has the least amount of players, and you can usually consistently get 10+ Chapaa’s each run from this location.
- Don’t be afraid to ask questions in the server chat! The Palia community is beaming with friendly and kind players who are always happy to help, so don’t be afraid to reach out.
