After rumours regarding the potential of an in-game Halloween event began making the rounds in the Marvel Rivals community in early Season 4, fans now have a first glimpse at what’s to come. Through the latest Dev Vision update Volume 10, six different heroes have now had concepts for Halloween-themed cosmetics revealed, with a lot of hype for these skins starting to build leading up to the Season 4.5 update.
Marvel Rivals Official Halloween Hero Skin Concepts
As showcased in the Dev Vision update, the six heroes who have been confirmed to be gaining new Halloween-themed skins are Namor, Spider-Man, Peni Parker, Blade, Scarlet Witch, and Jeff the Land Shark. These concepts feature a number of different spooky Halloween themes, from Jack-O-Lanterns and Skeletons to colorful Calavera/Day of the Dead concepts. There’s even a zombie Wanda skin parallel to that of her appearance in the ‘What if…Zombies?!’ episode that fans adore.

As for when players can expect to see these hero skins go live in-game, it has been confirmed that the Halloween event will run during Season 4.5. The Season 4.5 update is just around the corner, set for October 10. In this update, the new Duelist, Daredevil, will be added to the roster, new Team-Up changes will be implemented, and new events will take place – including the Halloween celebration.
The event could very well roll out in the form of a mini-pass, similar to the previous Lunar New Year and Summer Skin collections, likely offering players a range of different hero cosmetics, player icons, sprays, emotes, and in-game currencies across both Free and Premium tracks. There’s also the possibility that these skins, or additional Halloween skins yet to be revealed, may show up in the in-game shop as purchase-only bundles.
In saying that, yes, it’s very likely that at least one of these Halloween hero concepts will be free once released in Marvel Rivals! As for which one that may be, we will just have to wait and see!
