Tom Holland has been hospitalized with a concussion following a stunt accident on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Production on the film has been suspended at Leavesden Studios in Watford, England.
Incident on Set

According to a report by The Sun, Holland fell during filming and hit his head, resulting in a concussion. A stunt double was also taken to hospital by ambulance. The Health and Safety Executive could investigate the accident.
Production Pause

The £150 million production was suspended Friday. It is not clear how long filming will remain on hold. Holland’s father, comedian Dominic Holland, said his son would be away from filming “for a while.”

Holland attended a charity dinner in London with co-star and fiancée Zendaya shortly before the accident. He left the event early after feeling unwell.
History of Injuries

This is not the first time Holland has been injured while filming. He has previously broken his nose on multiple sets, including during Chaos Walking. On Uncharted, he described being left “battered and bruised” with tendon problems after repeated stunt work. He has also admitted to muscle pulls from stunt flips and nearly breaking his nose while shooting Cherry.
Release Plans

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is Holland’s fourth standalone Spider-Man film and is scheduled to release in July 2026. Sony Pictures and Leavesden Studios have not issued statements on the incident.
