The Pokemon Company continues to build excitement for its upcoming Inferno X expansion for the Pokemon TCG, unveiling another set of cards ahead of release. Scheduled to launch in Japan on September 26th, 2025, Inferno X is the second mega era collection, with a spotlight shining on Mega Charizard ex and other Fire Type monsters.
The Inferno X set is expected to contain over 80 standard cards along with a yet-to-be-determined number of secret rares. Of course, there’s a lot of potential for some stunning, awesome new Charizard cards to drop. Considering Charizard’s popularity not just in the franchise but in the TCG as one of the most sought-after and valuable monsters for collectors, many eager fans will want to keep an eye on this collection. For now, though, a few more notable cards have been revealed, showing off some gorgeous artworks.
All New Card Reveals For Pokemon TCG’S Japanese Inferno X Set
Here is a complete list of the latest card bundle revealed as part of the Pokemon TCG Inferno X set:
- Mega Heracross ex
- Lotad
- Lombre
- Ludicolo
- Misdreavus, Mismagius ex
- Bramblin, Brambleghast
- Jumbo Ice (Item)
- Vertigo Valley (Stadium)
In English, these cards will be included within the upcoming Phantasmal Flames expansion. The Pokemon TCG typically structures English sets by merging two or three smaller Japanese releases, so Inferno X will join with other collections to form the complete English set.
In terms of what to expect in products for the Inferno X / Phantasmal Flames set in Pokemon TCG, booster boxes, booster packs, mini tins, and elite trainer boxes are all a possibility. This is based on the previous set releases, Black Bolt and White Flame.
