Marvel Rivals players have recently become overjoyed with the next wave of Funko Pop merch set to drop soon. The collection involves an adorable assortment of items, including Pops for Jeff the Land Shark, Luna Snow, and Magik, as well as a bonus Mini Pop keychain and Pop Plushie option for Jeff.
However, while fans are undoubtedly excited for these items and eager to preorder them, not all of them have received the same level of hype as the others. In fact, one item in particular has earned very mixed reviews – none other than the Jeff the Land Shark plush!
Jeff The Land Shark Plush Seems A Little…Off, According to Fans
The Jeff the Land Shark Plush product has been seen in images shared by the leakers who revealed the supposed preorder dates for these items. Here is the original post by X0XLEAK:
While most of these items seem to nail the core character details and traits of Luna Snow, Magik, and Jeff the Land Shark, fans have shown concern for the Jeff plush in particular.
In the comments section of this very post, there are several fans stating their opinions about this little Jeff and what seems to be wrong. X user, @9310eisoj had the following to say:
“That Jeff plush idk man looks a bit off”
Another user, @TotallyNotD4C, chimed in to call the Jeff plushie out as well, with more users replying in agreement.
“What in the goddamn monstrosity is that Jeff plush?”
“It looks feral lol”
In addition to these points, @QuiggsOfficial and @morrisdustin07 were quick to add to the skepticism with their opinions:
“That Jeff plush is uhhhhhhh”
“The plush is so ugly, looks nothing like Jeff”
While many couldn’t quite put their finger on just what it was that made this Jeff plush so off-putting, user @Mochii_Donut may just have narrowed it down with their take on the design:
“The eyes for the Jeff plush are terrible. The Funko pop figure has more life than that”
And honestly? Now that I take a closer look at the lil fella, I can definitely see it, too. There’s no denying his big old puppy-like Landshark eyes are well, for lack of a better word, slightly soulless.
I think it’s something to do with the fact that in most depictions of the Marvel Rivals Jeff, he has white highlights in those beady little eyes of his to give him that real puppy dog look. Naturally, the Pop style has very simplistic black eyes, and while it’s to be expected in Pop Vinyl figurines, it doesn’t quite translate as well in this goofy (but still adorable) Jeff plushie.
For those who are interested in picking up Mr. Jeffrey in Plush form – or perhaps in Pop Vinyl alongside Luna or Magik, these items have been leaked to go up for preorders in just a few days (Wednesday, 10th September 2025). This means that you should keep your eye out for online stores across the next few days in order to maximize chances of securing a preorder!
