On Occasion, Overwatch 2 has been known to send emails out to the playerbase with collections of hero skin concepts, and have players vote for their favorites through a survey. This has led to these concepts being known as Overwatch 2 survey skins, with a chance for the most popular ones being added into the game in future seasons or events.

As of September 2025, there has been another Overwatch 2 skins survey making the rounds, so we’ve rounded up some of the best concepts to give you all a glimpse below.

Overwatch 2 September 2025 Skin Survey Designs

The September 2025 Overwatch 2 survey skins involve a range of different themes from monster school remodels to high fashion outfits. A complete list of the themes included in Overwatch 2’s September 2025 skin survey has been included below:

  • High Fashion Mafia – Ashe, Ana, Wuyang, Moira
  • Cyber Angels – Echo, Juno, Pharah, Reaper
  • Monster School – Mei, Ramattra, Widowmaker, Wuyang
  • Fairy Tale Warrior – Brigitte, Reinhardt, Genji, Widowaker
  • Futuristic Hospital – Mercy, Ana, Widowmaker, Sigma

Not all of these will be released as obtainable hero skins in Overwatch 2, however. The survey is simply an opportunity for the hero design team to get a feel for what players are most interested in and get some feedback on the various collections they are developing.

Generally, it takes anywhere from a few months to around a year from the survey date for Overwatch 2 survey skins to make it into the game. Usually, they are included as part of the Battle Pass concepts or as Overwatch Shop collections. There’s a lot of great concepts here featuring some really fun and unique or beautiful outfit designs, so fingers crossed that more than just a small handful end up being fully developed!
