Although the official Marvel Rivals Dev Vision Vol. 6 didn’t explicitly mention a Halloween event, during a shot of the menu screen we can see “Halloween Event”. With new non-halloween accessories dropping on Sep 25, we can expect the Halloween event will follow soon after in October. Here’s what else we expect to see:
Which Halloween Skins & Themes Will Drop?
Marvel Zombies-Inspired Outfits

With the show coming out at the end of the month, Zombie Versions like those show in the trailer could drop. Namor and Captain America being the big ones in the trailer, with Ironman and Scarlet Witch also as contenders. That said, Netease are no strangers to winging it, so any character could get a new zombie skin (except maybe Dr Strange, since he’s got one).
Ultron Mark I

Besides being a cool skin from the second Avengers movie, it’s also a perfect fit for Halloween. Fans have been wanting it and Ultron needs more skins, but Netease have been sparing with their MCU skins recently (maybe it’s fees), so we’ll have to wait and see.
Cute Jeff Skins

Famous for dressing up in cute costumes, Jeff is an easy pick for another skin in Season 4. He’s been spoiled for skins with a Venom and Summer skins coming out recently, but he’s so popular that it’s hard to imagine he won’t get one when he’s perfect for it.
Classic Costumes

In Wandavision, Wanda dresses up in her classic costume for halloween. It’s a cute nod to the campy original costumes, but it’s also a chance for Marvel Rivals to do some cutesy versions too. Things like capes for bedsheets, cardboard crowns and cheap belts.

Jean Grey could use more costumes, and there’s even an unfinished version of Wanda’s classic skin that leaked before Rivals even launched.

And Maybe Even Disney Crossovers?

NetEase have teased the idea of doing crossovers with other IPs, but the fanbase haven’t been happy about it. Marvel has plenty of skins already. But, if they were going to dip their toe in, Halloween is their chance and since they’re a part of Disney, they have endless IP to play with. Will we see The Punisher as a Storm Trooper? Emma Frost as Ellen Ripley? Or The Thing as Wreck-It Ralph? Probably not. They’re not that desperate.
But, if people want them, they’ll make them, Disney or not (I can already imagine the suggestions of a Psylocke as 2B or Black Widow as Cammy).
