The countdown to Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 is on, which means the next season is just a few days away. Thankfully, it has now been officially confirmed by the makers of Fortnite that the next season is set to deliver a serious dose of nostalgia, featuring Power Rangers as the exclusive collaboration.
On August 3, Fortnite confirmed via their official X handle that they’re calling experts for the next season, attaching an image consisting of two Power Rangers with some assault rifles in their hands.
Which Power Rangers Can We Expect in Fortnite?
As is tradition, Epic Games hasn’t officially detailed every skin and emote just yet but thankfully, several reliable Fortnite leakers have managed to datamine that Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are reportedly going to take over the battle royale world.
Tier 100 Reward
Leaks also suggest that Tommy Oliver, the original Green Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, is the main highlight of this collab, as his skin will be featured as the Tier 100 reward for the Chapter 6 Season 4 Battle Pass, the ultimate reward for completing the entire pass.
Secret Skin
But that’s not all. The whispers also include a Megazord secret skin, which would be an absolutely massive addition to the game. Given the new season’s rumored “Shock ‘N Awesome” theme and “bug invasion” storyline, it’s easy to imagine a Megazord with a new, insect-like twist battling across the island.
Shop Items
The rest of the original team of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, including Jason, Trini, Zack, Billy, and Kimberly, are also expected to be a part of this collab but I guess they won’t be included in the battle pass at all. Instead, Epic would sell them via Fortnite’s Item Shop to rack up some extra revenue.
Release Date
The Power Rangers x Fortnite collab will officially go live on Thursday, August 7th as a part of the Chapter 6 Season 4 update. But before you leave, it’s important to remember that until Epic Games officially confirms these details, they are based on leaks and rumors, even if they come from highly reliable sources.
