Rise and shine, Paul Thomas Anderson and Pynchon just got added to Fortnite.
In a move no one expected, Warner Bros. has decided to bet big on film auteur Paul Thomas Anderson’s upcoming blockbuster One Battle After Another with a Fortnite crossover.
A short teaser of Jonesy playing the Leonardo Dicaprio character as he uses the payphone ala the movie’s trailer dropped onto their socials like an absolute cinema bomb.
It’s hard to say what this means, whether Barry Egan and Daniel Plainview will be next, or if we’ll see Joe Cross from Eddington roll up instead.
The only thing that is clear, is that cinema is canon in fortnite now, and the doors are open for anyone to join— personally, I hope to see the droogs from A Clockwork Orange.
