Marvel Rivals is gearing up for its second wave of swimsuit skins, following the sunny debut of Loki, Psylocke, Thor, Luna Snow, and new reveals for Human Torch and Punisher via the In-game gallery & the Infinity Comic. Expect around five more characters to get summer-ready soon — and X0Xleak may have already uncovered who.
What’s Been Leaked?
A list of unreleased Season 3 skins from X0XLeaks1 gives us some hints. Not all of them are labeled as beachwear, but several stand out as strong contenders:
Confirmed “Original” Skins (Likely Swimsuits):
- Doctor Strange
- Cloak & Dagger
- Scarlet Witch
- Winter Soldier
These characters have brand-new skins dropping this season — and they aren’t tied to other big events like Phoenix Force, so they’re top candidates for Wave 2.
Less Likely (But Still Possible)
- Ultron & Peni Parker (Both also have original skins, but robots in trunks? Seems… unlikely.)
- Mantis, Star-Lord, Captain America, Spider-Man:(Recolors — might be beachy recolours, but are more likely new color palettes for existing skins, like Orchid Mantis colours for Mantis’s Flora Maiden skin).
Not Beachwear (Probably)
- Hela, Black Widow, Magic, Black Panther: All tied to Phoenix Force skins.
- Venom: Leaked story skin (possibly Symbiote/Eddie Brock).
- Iron Man: Listed as a comic skin, so it could be his swimsuit special look.
What About the Movie Skins?
Skins for:
- Mr. Fantastic
- The Thing
- Invisible Woman
- Human Torch
Confirmed to be dropping on July 25 for the Fantastic Four: First Steps event — not the summer skins. But it’s odd that this is Human Torch‘s only skin listed, that there’s no Punisher skin, and that The Thing’s beach skin wasn’t listed at all. More surprise skins that aren’t in the datamine are likely on the way.
When Will Wave 2 Launch?
Originally expected to drop in late August, the second wave has been pushed to season 4 instead. The release date hasn’t been released yet, but it’s likely to drop either at launch of season 4 or close to it, as a Halloween event has been leaked and will likely follow it.

Unexpectedly, The Thing is getting another summer skin. Maybe “The Thong” was easy enough to design that they could do both the meme skin and this stylish one too.
