Impractical Jokers is going Eastern Bloc.

The long-running hidden-camera comedy Impractical Jokers is making its way to Lithuania, where a new cast of four comedians will take on the show’s signature format of public dares and awkward punishments. The 24-episode Lithuanian version will air on TV3 and is set to go into production later this year, following a deal with Warner Bros. International Television Production.

The original series — launched in 2011 by New York comedy troupe The Tenderloins — has become a cult hit across more than 300 episodes, outlasting trends and even a major cast departure. It’s since been adapted in countries like the U.K., Greece, Sweden, and Australia, where a local version returns this week for a third season.

Žukauskas & Sadauskas

For the Lithuanian edition, TV3 has tapped some of the country’s most recognizable names in comedy: Antanas Sadauskas, Markas Žukauskas, Simanas Žurauskas, and Viktoras Balykovas, all known for their work onstage and online. “We’re excited to bring this format to Lithuania with such a strong cast,” said Arvydas Rimas, Creative Director at TV3 Group. “It’s a show that’s always found an audience because it’s rooted in friendship, unpredictability, and real reactions.”

Warner Bros. executive André Renaud added that the format’s adaptability has made it a consistent performer around the world:

“There’s something universal in the humor, and we’re looking forward to seeing what this new version brings.”
