Marvel Rivals have just announced Season 2 officially, and what a party it’s going to be! Here’s the trailer:
Release Date: Mark Your Calendars
Season 2 begins with the end of season 1.5 on April 11th.
New Heroes: Silver and Diamond
After all the teasing of the Daywalker, Blade, the leaked heroes have won out. Emma Frost will release with Season 2, and Ultron is expected to be the second hero for the season.
Emma Frost will be the host fo the Hellfire Gala, as well as a new Vanguard player that has fans completely smitten already.
New Heroes: The Daywalker Cometh?

All signs pointed to the imminent arrival of Blade, Marvel’s iconic vampire hunter. In-game teasers, including artwork depicting Blade subdued by Dracula and a Daily Bugle cover featuring him, have fans buzzing. The Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park map literally has a chained Blade for you to see in one of the spawn rooms.
But old Eric Brooks isn’t anywhere to be found in the new trailer, will he be a surprise drop or will he be relegated to season 3? It could go either way if Ultron is the villian in Season 2– hyping him up as a character for season 3– but it’s too early to say.
The Hellfire Gala: Mutant Couture Takes Center Stage

Mentions and symbols of the Hellfire Gala have been mentioned all over the game, from the Blood Chronovium item lore to the background of maps, to the Scarlet Witch skin already included in the Season 1 Battle Pass.
It’s all but confirmed that Season 2 will focus on the Hellfire Gala, an annual event in Marvel Comics that’s a high-fashion celebration of mutantkind (perfect for gorgeous new skins and cosmetics).
This will also likely drop with Krakoa, the location of the Hellfire Gala, as a map. Krakoa, along with other Klyntar maps, has already been leaked so this is also highly likely.
New Skins — Formal Wear For All!
Emma Frost and Star-Lord will start the dance with two style black and gold skins on April 11 in the store.
Scarlet Witch will release with another gala skin, with this one being a free challenge unlock.
After that we can only speculate which will be in the Battle Pass, and which will be buyables. Here’s everything we’ve seen so far.

Community Concerns: A Call for Better Moderation
NetEase has been quick to listen ot the community, and the players have been calling for better chat moderation. Voice charact recording has also been added as a deterent, but more changes may come in the future if issues continue.
Final Thoughts: A Season of Surprises?
With Blade’s anticipated debut, the potential Hellfire Gala theme, and ongoing community challenges, Season 2 of Marvel Rivals promises to be eventful. As April approaches, players eagerly await official announcements and hope for a season that balances fresh content with a healthy gaming environment.
