Marvel Rivals’ Latest Event Lets You and Your Clones Wreak Havoc in Wakanda

Hope you like chaos because Marvel Rivals is about to turn up the heat. NetEase and Marvel Games just dropped the details on Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure, a new limited-time event kicking off March 7, bringing an absolutely bonkers Clone Rumble mode, fresh cosmetics, and a whole lot of cosmic-themed rewards.

So, What’s Clone Rumble?

Imagine a battlefield where everyone is the same hero, and you get the picture. In Clone Rumble, each team votes on a character, and then—no restrictions, no duplicates limit—you all just go full multiverse madness as an army of that hero. Expect 6v6 mayhem exclusively on the INTERGALACTIC EMPIRE OF WAKANDA: Birnin T’Challa map, with victory depending on mission completion rather than sheer clone superiority (but let’s be honest, that’s half the fun).

When Can You Play?

Mark your calendars, because this event runs in three bursts:

  • March 7, 1 AM PST – March 10, 2 AM PDT
  • March 14, 2 AM PDT – March 17, 2 AM PDT
  • March 21, 2 AM PDT – March 24, 2 AM PDT

What’s in It for You?

Besides pure chaos? Rewards. Completing event tasks nets you limited-time goodies, including:

  • Black Widow “Mrs. Barnes” costume (Yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like. In an alternate 1872, Natasha and Bucky are married.)
  • MVP nameplates, sprays, Units, and other exclusive loot.
  • Galacta’s Power Cosmic tokens, which you can trade for dice rolls (think: cosmic board game, but for in-game rewards).

Oh, and daily/weekly missions mean Tokens, Tokens, Tokens—so expect plenty of grind opportunities.

Fixes, Tweaks, and Loki Being Loki

On top of all that, the latest patch brings some hero balancing and much-needed bug fixes, including:

  • Loki’s UI vanishing mid-fight? Fixed. (The God of Mischief should probably keep track of his own abilities.)
  • Human Torch’s Flaming Meteor trapping enemies in walls? Not anymore.
  • Wolverine’s Ultimate turning enemies into super-jumpers? No longer a thing.
  • Punisher’s Ultimate randomly firing missiles during network hiccups? Now under control.
  • Peni Parker getting weirdly displaced by Namor? She’s back where she belongs.

And a bunch more (including fixes for sound effects, terrain issues, and, bizarrely, Jeff the Land Shark’s ice spitball attack being a little too good).

So, get ready—Marvel Rivals is about to get even wilder.
