The Spring Festival for Marvel Rivals will begin on January 23rd at 9AM UTC. The event comes with a limited football game mode, Clash of Dancing Lions, and a Gallery Card customization event, “Fortune & Colors”.
Completing tasks will reward players with limited-time items such as the Free Star-Lord: Lion’s Mane costume, nameplate, spray and other rewards.
3v3 “Clash of Dancing Lions” Football Mode
Much like Overwatch’s Lucioball events, Clash of Dancing Lions plays like Rocket League with heroes. The objective for both teams is to use their skills to gain possession of the ball and maneuver it into the scoring zones located on either side of the field. Whoever has the most goals when the time runs out wins.
It comes along with a Gallery Card customization event – Fortune & Colors. Completing tasks will reward players with limited-time items such as the Star-Lord: Lion’s Mane costume, nameplate, spray and, of course, a card for your gallery.
New Costumes

Star-Lord: Lion’s Mane
Iron Fist: Lion’s Gaze
Black Widow: Lion’s Heartbeat
As mentioned before, the Star-Lord costume will be free with the Spring Festival Challenges, while the other costumes will be purchasable in the store for Units.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC Celebration
Marvel Rivals will also introduce a special Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 bundle, which includes the Advanced Suit 2.0 costume, nameplate and spray on January 30th. It is unknown how this will be made available, but it will likely be bought in the store with Units.
