The latest Starfield update is live, offering new features and enhancements for players. Highlights include detailed surface maps, new gameplay difficulty options, expanded ship customization, and improved display settings for Xbox Series X.
Key Updates
Surface Maps. Enhanced with terrain markings and fast travel points in major cities; Now it’s much easier to tell where you are and where you’re going.
Gameplay Options. Customizable vendor credits, carry capacity, survival features, and an Extreme difficulty mode.
Ship Customization. Completely overhauled, not only are there new interiors, you can customise every inch of them too. Place a couch here, a pot plant there, make it home.

Plus, players in New Game Plus can now respec their appearance and traits. Quality-of-life improvements include dialogue camera toggling and better menu navigation.
